hello i have been i Big halo fan since day one loved Halo CE got Halo2 then became obsessed with Multiplayer online...same with Halo3 i love the BR. then i hated halo reach... Because the DMR single shot Weapon... in my eyes this is why halo reach failed i have talked with a lot of people about reach and we all agree. What is needed for Halo4 Multi player Survival...Must have Battle Rifle or DMR three Busrt with very low reticle Bloom... what do you think?

i do agree halo 4 dose need a three shot rifle for online halo reaches DMR was good but maybe if in halo for they could intrduce a new firing system where you could choose 3 shot or 1 shot for the DMR that would also be great

The DMR shouldn't be in Halo4 due to the fact that it was the prototype of the BR. REMEBER PEOPLE HALO:REACH IS THE BEGINNING OF THE WAR! People seem to forget this due to the order of the games. BR is the weapon that is most likely to be in H4 due to this reason.

no. You need to remember that the chief is on his own, stranded. The only weapons that will still be availiable to him are human weapons, such as the Battle rifle (as the DMR was a pre-set to the battle rifle)

The needler is a covenant weapon and the covenant will not be in this tale. As I have said before, Facts point towards the game being based around the forerunners, the forerunners being the technology the covenant based their technology on.

This means that we will see similar weapons that the covenant use ( plasma, needlers e.c.t) but they WILL NOT be the same weapons. For a start, the covenant made the needler based on forerunner technology called Hard Light, same as the Energy sword. The needler was a covenant creation and therefore will not be in the game, but the needler was based on forerunner tech. The only true example of this are the guardians in halo 2 which foired red needles (on the library levels)

Any weapons we get that arent from the chief's armoury will be forerunner in nature and thus will be highly advanced weapons being either beam weapons or Hard light weapons. The plasma pistol for example was a cutting tool used by the forerunners, but unable to fully replicate forerunner technology, the covenant turned it into a pulse weapon. There may be plasma pistols in halo 4, but if they are, they will be continuous beams.
